WWF Mediterranean Programme Office is looking for a motivated, energetic, competent manager to lead its programme and operations in the Adria region.

WWF MedPO is the WWF network office mandated to pursue WWF global conservation objectives in the Mediterranean region. WWF MedPO operates with a regional leadership & coordination office and local offices in Adria (Western Balkans), North Africa and Portugal.

The Director of WWF Mediterranean Adria office leads and builds and the WWF Adria team in the development and implementation of WWF strategy for the Adria region; builds and manages WWF structure and operations in Adria ensuring performance and accountability according to WWF standards; develops and implement the Adria fund raising strategy; represents WWF and builds partnerships across the Adria region.

The ideal candidate has very good knowledge and experience of the Adria region’s environmental, social, political, economic context; mastering of local languages in addition to fluency in English spoken and written language; excellent leadership and team building skills; proved competence and experience in management of programmes and organizations including administration and human resources management; excellent communication and diplomatic skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment; demonstrates WWF values: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging.

The Director of WWF Adria office reports to the Director of WWF MedPO and will be based in WWF Adria office premises in Zagreb, Croatia.
