Earth Hour is more than an event. It is a movement. This year Earth Hour is happening at 8:30pm on 25 March 2017.
Around the globe, millions of people, businesses, and landmarks set aside an hour to host events, switch off their lights, and make noise for climate change action. Over the last 10 year's Earth Hour achieved massive environmental impact.

In the Guinness Book of World Records the movement is listed as the world's largest voluntary action and each year the results keep getting even better. Last year, public lighting went off in more than 7000 cities in 178 countries worldwide!

Croatia was one of them - last year we turned the lights off in 68 cities: landmarks such as Zagreb Cathedral, Dubrovnik city walls, the Pula Colosseum and the Split Diocletian’s palace were just some of the attractions that drowned into darkness.

Each year, millions of us come together to make Earth Hour happen. Coordinated by WWF and other volunteer organisations, together we're shining a light on the need for action on climate change!
